Terri Quaif was attacked by boyfriend Andrew Smith with boiling water Andrew Smith, a 36-year-old jealous thug who poured boiling water over his girlfriend and ruined her chances of getting a modelling contract, has been jailed. According to Daily Star UK, Andrew Smith beat  Terri Quaif "black and blue" and left her with blistering and burns to her thighs and groin after one of several horrific attacks. A court heard Miss Quaif, 28, an aspiring-model, thought Smith was the "absolutely perfect" man when they first got together in 2013. But just three months later Smith started to become abusive and controlling over Miss Quaif's movements. Two fake beggers arrested in Imo state

Two fake blind beggars have been arrested by policemen attached to the Imo State University, Owerri campus. Their arrest, PUNCH reports, followed intelligence information given to the police by some students of the institution who said the two young men who had been begging for alms on the campus were not blind as they had claimed. A student leader, Chidi Onyeji, told Southern City News that the fake blind men were apprehended by the police at the main gate of the varsity. He said: “The policemen attached to the entry gate of Imo State University, Owerri have uncovered swindle activities of a particular group who devise unlawful means to attract sympathy and rip off kind-hearted students of their hard-earned money under the pretext of being blind.” According to Onyeji, luck ran out on the suspects when one of the policemen called one of the beggars, and on approaching, the cop slapped him and asked him to open his eyes.
