2face leaves Airtel for Glo

Back in 2015, Innocent Idibia a.k.a. 2face hoisted the flag of telecommunication company, Airtel, as a proud ambassador and remained so until sometime last week when it became obvious the hip-hop maestro had jumped ship. He simply declined renewal of his contract when it expired.
He said the major reason he refused to sign a new contract was personal. The celebrated musician was unveiled as the latest Glo brand ambassador at an event in Port Harcourt a few days ago, where he also performed.
2Baba was formerly an Airtel brand ambassador and a judge on The Voice Nigeria. However, he did not renew his contract hence his exclusion from the music reality show. He now joins the likes of Olamide, Timaya, Mercy Johnson, and others as Glo ambassadors.

Big Brother Naija 2017 contestants, Tokunbo Idowu aka TBoss and Ekemini Ekerette aka Kemen, have finally come to an understanding, ending their lingering beef. The reality stars ended their quarrel during a peace meeting organized by journalist, Azuka Ogujiuba and Charles Opaleke, a night club owner in Abuja. The duo have maintained no-speaking terms with one another since their disqualification of Kemen from the show, for an alleged sexual assault on Tboss. Some Nigerians who travelled to Russia to witness the 2018 world cup now stranded in Russia

 Nigerians who traveled to witness the 2018 World Cup in Russia are being stranded and unable to go back home to Nigeria, Some of the travelers who fled into other countries from Russia to obtain  visa's are also getting stranded in the process. According to the reports, the victims have only FAN IDs, which the Russian government issued as a visa substitute to foreigners traveling to attend the FIFA World Cup. This means they can’t use the document to get a job. With nowhere to go, they’re going about Russia looking for help. According to them “We came here to come and plead to our government in Nigeria because all of us came here to watch football, and we paid our flight tickets to and fro. “But unfortunately, we cannot get return back to Nigeria because our return tickets were cancelled and it is so disappointing to us as we never planned to stay in Russia.” “We want to go back and that is why we are pleading to both our government and that of Russia to help us.”
