Alleged Fulani herdsmen attack Niger state kills 21 people

Unknown gunmen alleged to be Fulani herdsmen attacked a community in Niger state in Etogi community Gbata ward of mokwa LGA Niger state

It occurred early hours of Sunday, May 14 while the villagers were having their morning prayers. The attack is said to be as a result of an earlier disagreement between some Fulani herdsmen and members of the affected community which led to the death of a herdsmen

The gunmen killed everyone in the mosque including the Imam,eight people sustained different injuries due to the commotion of the attack and are presently receiving treatment

Tension as Lion escapes from a park

As many as four lions have escaped from a popular park in South Africa, causing a lot of tension in the area. South African rangers on Monday continued searching for four male lions that escaped from the country’s flagship Kruger National Park, a spokesman for the national wildlife parks said. According to NAN, the SANParks spokesperson William Mabasa said that the lions were seen near a road a few kilometres from the park. It was not known how the lions got out of the park, most of which is fenced. Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi says he involves in all religion. He said that there is nothing demonic about any traditional religion and that he discovered that all religions “are one.” The Oba also said that there was only one God being worshipped in different ways.
