Femi kuti breaks world record!!!

Femi kuti broke the world record for the longest single note held on Sunday at jump event in Africa shrine Agidingbi,Lagos.

The record stood for 46mins 38seconds breaking the longest single saxophone note set in 1997 by Kenny G  but we are yet to know if he'll get to the Grammy's

Fg recruiting 7,500 graduates as tax officers

The Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, has disclosed that federal government is currently recruiting 7,500 graduates as Community Tax Liaison Officers (CTLOs) to raise tax awareness among citizens. According to her, the recruits would be expected to go to schools, churches, mosques, markets and other social places to educate people on the tax system and let them know their obligations. She made this known in Abuja at a joint press briefing with the Chairman, Federal Inland Revenue Service, BabaTunde Fowler, on Thursday. Adeosun said that through this initiative, the government is expected to increase the number of taxpayers by 35 percent; ie from 14 million to about 17 million in two years. The Finance Minister added that graduates of accounting, economics, mathematics and other relevant courses would be given priority under the programme. Terri Quaif was attacked by boyfriend Andrew Smith with boiling water Andrew Smith, a 36-year-old jealous thug who poured boiling water over his girlfriend and ruined her chances of getting a modelling contract, has been jailed. According to Daily Star UK, Andrew Smith beat  Terri Quaif "black and blue" and left her with blistering and burns to her thighs and groin after one of several horrific attacks.
