2 south African communities gives quick notice to Nigerians residing there
Two different south African communities namely Kuruman community in Northern cape province and Klaafonteni community extension 5 Johannesburg have allegedly given Nigerians residing there quick notice..
According to the president of Nigerian Union in south African, Ikechukwu Anyene he said the south African where not happy with Nigerians as they where involved in several social vices such as illicit drug trade and prostitution.
“We have also written reports on these incidents and sent to the Nigerian Mission and the South African police.
“We recommended interventions before the June 16 deadline to the mission and we are waiting for their response.
“The union is worried that any incident involving non South Africans are attributed to Nigerians,” he said.
Also the klaafonteni community have directed landlords not to renew their rent while the kuruman community in North cape province gave Nigerians 16th June to leave their community.
