Jay-Z has just dropped his much anticipated album 4:44, in which he apologizes to Beyoncé for often womanizing, but one of the most surprising revelations comes on the album’s third track, Smile, when Jay says his mom, Gloria Carter, is a lesbian.
‘Momma had 4 kids but she’s a lesbian/had to pretend so long that she’s a thesbian/Had to hide in the closet, so she medicate. ‘Society shame and the pain was too much to take/Cried tears of joy when you fell in love/Don’t matter to me if it’s a him or her.’
Jay’s mom then gets a feature role on the track with a spoken word performance about her se*uality, where she tells people: ‘Love who you love, because life isn’t guaranteed’.

Kogi electorates file suit to remove Yahaya Bello as governor

Some electorate in Kogi have approached a Federal High Court in Abuja to declare the return and swearing-in of Alhaji Yahaya Bello as the governor of Kogi as null and void. The suit, number FHC/ABJ/C3/535/ /2017, was filed before Justice John Tsoho of the Federal High Court 3, Abuja. This is contained in court documents made available to newsmen on Tuesday in Lokoja. Mr Michael Elokun, Mr Ibrahim Sule and Mrs Hawa Adamu approached the court on behalf of all registered voters in Kogi. Other defendants in the suit are: the All Progressives Party (APC), Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as well as the Minister of Justice and the Attorney-General of the Federation. In the originating summon supported by a 19-paragraph affidavit, the petitioners are asking the court to remove the governor on grounds that he is not a registered voter in Kogi. Pat Utomi, co-founder of Lagos Business School and Pan Atlantic University, has urged groups in the country to find ways to halt Nigeria’s impending anarchy.
