Nigerian man drowns while swimming in Italy

On Sunday 9th July was an unfortunate day for the family of a  young man identified as "Johnson" who lost his life while swimming in a lake in Italy .
His family and friends however took to social media to mourn

Some Nigerians who travelled to Russia to witness the 2018 world cup now stranded in Russia

 Nigerians who traveled to witness the 2018 World Cup in Russia are being stranded and unable to go back home to Nigeria, Some of the travelers who fled into other countries from Russia to obtain  visa's are also getting stranded in the process. According to the reports, the victims have only FAN IDs, which the Russian government issued as a visa substitute to foreigners traveling to attend the FIFA World Cup. This means they can’t use the document to get a job. With nowhere to go, they’re going about Russia looking for help.
