List of Nigerian States owing their workers salary

 A survey by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in the North Central zone has revealed that state governments still owe workers in spite of the bailout funds provided by the Federal Government. The survey also found that all debt-ravaged states that collected the Federal Government intervention fund as well as the Paris Club loan refund still owe some categories of workers salary arrears. In Benue, for example, NAN learnt that the state government owes state and local government workers seven months and 10 months’ salary arrears respectively. They were said to have received salaries last in May 2017 and February 2017. Sources at the state Ministry of Finance indicated that the state government had received N12.5 million and N6.8 billion in the first and second instalments of the Paris Club refund. Gov. Why I have not sued Wizkid – Babymama

Binta Diallo the second baby mama to popular musician, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, also known as Wizkid, yesterday explained why she has not sued the singer for allegedly being a responsible father to their son, Junior. According to her, she wanted to sue him but his family begged her to opt for an out of court settlement in order not to create immigration problems for him. DAILY POST reports that Diallo had earlier called out the singer for not paying their son’s school fees after Wizkid tweeted that he planned to build public schools across Africa. Lebanese and Nigerians clash over land dispute in Abuja There was confusion in Abuja on Thursday between the Residents of Games Village Estate and the leader of the Lebanese community, Albert Alwan, for allegedly blocking the road to the estate with a container. The Lebanese community was said to have claimed a portion of the estate on which they reportedly wanted to build a church, but the residents denied them access to the plot. The Secretary of the Games Village Residents Association, Jude Uze, explained that they denied the Lebanese entry because they did not know them as bonafide members of the estate.
